Matthew 3:16-17 – A Dove? A Voice from “Heaven”?!?!

From the book The Narrow Gate by Rav Sha’ul

Matthew 3
16 As soon as Yahusha was baptized, he went up out of the water. At that moment heaven was opened, and he saw the Spirit of Yahuah descending like a dove and alighting on him. 17 And a voice from heaven said, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased!”…
What is the Scriptures telling us in this passage? Did a physical Dove truly descend down and sit on Yahusha’s shoulders? Did an audible voice really come down out of the sky and proclaim Yahusha was the son of Yahuah?

The Mystery Language

The Scriptures are encoded in what is called The Mystery Language. Many times we fall into false doctrines taking literally what is written metaphorically though riddles, parallels, idioms, parables, and figures of speech. Yahusha made this clear, the reason the Scriptures are written in the Mystery Language is for that very reason… it is not given to the masses to just pick up the Bible and understand The Plan of Salvation! You must have The Ruach to decipher the Scriptures as they are Spiritually discerned!
Matthew 13
10 The disciples came to him and asked, ‘Why do you speak to the people in parables?’ 11 He replied, ‘Because the knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of heaven has been given to you, but not to them. 12 Whoever has (the Spirit of Holiness) will be given (speaking of a future date when Yahuah pour out His Spirit) more (hidden knowledge), and they will have an abundance (of Spiritual understanding). Whoever does not have, even what they have will be taken from them. 13 This is why I speak to them in parables.
Sha’ul explain this same concept:
1 Corinthians 2:4-15
4 And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom (Sha'ul and Yahusha did not speak in literal terms), but in the demonstration of the Spirit of Holiness and of power (which gives us understanding of hidden things): 5 That your faith should not stand in the (literal) wisdom of men (to be taken literally), but in the power of Yahuah (In a Mystery Language taught only by The Holy Spirit to a chosen few). 6 However we (Yahuah’s Chosen Few) speak wisdom (Spiritual Understanding) among them that are perfect (perfected by The Spirit of Holiness): yet not the wisdom (literal / pagan / natural understanding) of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nothing (they do not understand The Bible language): 7 But we (Yahuah’s Chosen Few) speak the wisdom of Yahuah in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which (this Mystery Language) Yahuah ordained before the world (revealed in The Heavenly Scroll) unto our glory: 8 Which none of the princes of this world knew (the hidden mystery language of Yahuah that His Word is written in): for had they known it (this Mystery Language, the meaning of The Heavenly Scroll), they would not have crucified the King of glory (on Passover, because that is what The Stars Proclaim Psalm 19).
Above Sha’ul explains that the “mystery” is revealed in The Heavenly Scroll “before the foundation of the world” and it is our lack of understanding The Heavenly Scroll that leads to error.

The Mystery Revealed!

So, what is Yahuah speaking to us in Matthew 3:16-17? Below is the Mystery Language revealed and the true interpretation of this verse, as not everyone witnessed this… “he saw” meaning John was given a revelation!
Matthew 3:16-17
As soon as Yahusha was Mikveh’d, he came up out of the Living Water. At that moment, (now the rest of this is metaphorically speaking g3708) The Heavenly Scroll was opened (Revelation 4:1), an “he saw a VISION of” (g3708metaphorically speaking “in his mind), the Ruach “being given to Yahusha” (g2064). 17 And he perceived in his mind (g3708) a SHOFAR BLAST (g5456Yahuah’s voice is seen coming out of The Heavenly Scroll as a loud Shofar Blast Revelation 4:1) coming (down) from The Heavenly Scroll and (the stars) proclaimed (the Glory of Yahuah Psalm 19, who is Yahusha Hebrews 1:3), “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased! (confirming that Yahusha is the fulfillment of The Heavenly Scroll)”
The word translated “he saw” is:
g3708 horáō
properly, see, often with metaphorical meaning: "to see with the mind" (i.e. spiritually see), i.e. perceive (with inward spiritual perception).

The word traditionally translated “rested on” or “descended” is properly “given” in context of Yahuah giving His Ruach:

g2064 erchomai
arrival (1), arrived (1), brought (1), came (225), come (222), comes (64), coming (87), entered (2), expected (3), fall (2), falls (1), ***** GIVE ****(1), go (1), going (2), grown (1), lighting (1), next (1), turned (1), went (18).

The word translated “proclaimed, say” is:

g3004 légō
"laying an argument to rest," i.e. bringing a message to closure

The word translated “voice” should be in context “blast” as that is the FIRST definition!

g5456 phóné
blasts (1), cry (1), language (1), languages (1), outcry (1), sound (15), sounds (4), statement (1), tone (1), utterance (3), utterances (1), voice (102), voices (7).

It was at that moment, that the long wait for the one foretold in The Heavenly Scroll was realized, and all the debate over which “demi-god” was the one prophesied in the heavens was settled. This is confirmed in Psalm 19… The Heavenly Scroll (the stars) proclaim that Yahusha is the Glory of Yahuah, not an audible voice! It is “metaphorically” speaking just like Matthew 3.

Psalm 19
1 The heavens proclaim the glory of Yahuah (which is Yahusha Hebrews 1:3); the stars proclaim the work of his hands. 2 Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they reveal knowledge. 3 They have no speech, they use no words; no sound is heard from them.

What John witnessed in Matthew 3:16-17, was Yahuah revealing to him in his Spirit that Yahusha was the fulfillment of The Heavenly Scroll! Yahuah “laid the argument to rest” as to who was the fulfillment of The Heavenly Scroll by revealing to John “in his mind” that Yahusha was The Messiah, and Yahuah had adopted him as Yahusha was being born again… John was Elijah, The High Priest of Israel… and the people were waiting for John to proclaim to them who the messiah was… John got his answer “in his mind” Spiritually discerned at that moment… and then went forth from there and proclaimed Yahusha was the Messiah!

This same thing happened to John the Revelator, as “Heaven” opened up for him too, and a shofar blast proclaimed to him Yahusha is the fulfillment of The Plan of Salvation written in The Heavenly Scroll.

Revelation 4
1 The Throne in Heaven After this I looked, and behold, a door was opened in The Heavenly Scroll; and the first voice which I heard was (Yahuah, the Aleph/Tav), as it were, of a Shofar Blast talking with me”

I produced a video on exactly what John “saw” below proving it was The Heavenly Scroll….

The Narrow Gate

Passover and The Scarlet Thread of Redemption

From my book The Narrow Gate, Chapter 1.

John 13:15
For I have given you an example (Spiritual Path), that you should do as I have done (offer our own lives as living sacrificial lambs on Passover).

Yahusha made that statement on Passover as he laid down the example of Mikveh, Circumcision, and Offering.  We see this same idea enforced again in 1 Peter:

1 Peter 2:21
21 But if you suffer for doing good (give your life as a Living Sacrifice) and you endure it (you will be perfected just like Yahusha was perfected, through suffering, ultimately perfected on Passover), this (life sacrifice) is commendable before Yahuah. 21 To this (giving your own lives as living sacrificial lambs on Passover) you were called (Exodus 12:1-3), because the Messiah suffered (on Passover) for you (and tore the Veil giving you access to the Altar of Yahuah Matthew 27:51), leaving you an example (of what to do as he fulfilled the Spiritual meaning of Passover), that you should follow in his steps (and bring your own offering on Passover to the Altar of Yahuah).

Please note, by living sacrifice I do not mean to imply we all must literally die on Passover. We are to die “to self”, and live a sacrificial life in service to our King, in obedience to Yahuah’s will.

The Passover is far more than just a retelling of the Exodus out of Egypt. It is more than just Yahusha suffering to pay the penalty of our transgression on the torture stake on Passover. The blood of the Passover Lamb (and the foreshadowing of the Messiah’s role) is The Scarlet Thread of Redemption that runs throughout the entire Word of Yahuah. It is His Plan of Salvation!

This Scarlet Thread of Redemption is foretold in The Heavenly Scroll then runs:

  • from the prophecy in Genesis that the seed of a woman will crush the enemy
  • then a lamb slaughtered to “cover” the sinful parts of the bodies of Adam and Eve after they fell
  • through Abraham sacrificing his first-born son Isaac, who was delivered by the sacrifice of a ram
  • leading to the Exodus where the blood of the lamb covered the first born, and the angel of death passed over the homes who entered into that covenant
  • culminating with Yahusha transposing these prophecies, physical metaphors, and rehearsals to their Spiritual Truths. Showing us The Way unto salvation leading us through The Narrow Gate as the Good Shepherd of all the lambs of Yahuah to…
  • being expressed in faith each year by offering our own lives as living sacrifices on Passover, following in the footsteps of The Messiah to…
  • finding completion with the return of Yahusha and the GREATER Exodus into the Millennial Kingdom. When Yahusha gathers all the spotless lambs of Yahuah. Those who have followed his example on Passover and offered themselves as spotless lambs on the altar to Yahuah each year in obedience to His Law!  Then the fulfillment of Mikveh is realized and the land and people cleansed of their sin!

Passover Fundamental in all Covenants

We see that the Passover is far more than just a “Jewish” ritual given to Moses (who, by the way, was not even Jewish). It is a fundamental principle in the Plan of Salvation i.e. The Scarlet Thread of Redemption in every covenant:

  • The Edenic Covenant – lamb that was slaughtered from the foundation of the world, written in the stars
  • The Adamic Covenant – lamb slaughter to make clothing to cover sin
  • The Noahic Covenant – Genesis 8:20, the first thing Noah did after the flood is… make an Altar and sacrifice a “clean animal” i.e. a Lamb on the Altar.
  • The Abrahamic Covenant – lamb slaughtered to provide Salvation from death of the promised son Isaac and his descendants
  • Coming out of bondage – Israelites slaughtered a personal lamb and put the blood on the doorpost to save the firstborn, leading them out of bondage through the Passover
  • The Mosaic Covenant – each family brought their own sacrificial Passover lamb as a sacrifice on Passover
  • The Yahushaic Covenant – each son of Yahuah follows Yahusha’s footsteps in examining their own lives for spot or blemish and offering their lives as living sacrifices on Passover

Yahuah’s Moedim – We all are Passover Lambs!

We are taught that Yahusha is the only Passover Lamb.  Is that true? No, we are all living sacrificial lambs offered on Passover!

Yahuah gave us His instruction and laid out a “Moedim”, or rehearsal, for us to learn this vital Spiritual Truth. This rehearsal was to illustrate physically the concept of personal sacrifice. In this rehearsal, defined in The Torah, Yahuah had the children of Israel take one of their most prized lambs and slaughter it, one for each household. We must understand the personal sacrifice this was to them. They relied on their flocks for milk, meat, and for trade. This was a significant personal sacrifice that each family had to make in terms of their personal resources. There was not just one sacrificial lamb… there were many.

Yahuah was teaching our ancestors (who were Spiritually immature children) the value of personal sacrifice that was later to come in The Yahushaic Covenant when that “lamb” we would bring would be our own lives! Below is the definition of the physical rehearsal, notice that each man had to offer his own Passover Lamb:

Exodus 12 - the Passover and the Festival of Unleavened Bread
1 Yahuah said to Moses and Aaron in Egypt, 2 “This month is to be for you the first month, the first month of your year. 3 Tell the whole community of Israel that on the tenth day of this month each man is to take a lamb for his family, one for each household. 5 The animals you choose must be year-old males without defect, and you may take them from the sheep or the goats. 6 Take care of them until the fourteenth day of the month, when all the members of the community of Israel must slaughter them (there were many Passover Lambs) at twilight.

We have lost sight of this legal requirement today.  We are not properly taught The Law and we simply say “Jesus did it all for us” and then go about keeping pagan celebrations. When what really happened, was Yahusha paved the way, tore the Veil, and we all are to bring our own lives (by Law) and lay them down at his Altar every Passover!

Yahuah promised a “new covenant”…where the final fulfillment of Mikveh, Circumcision, and Offering is realized

Ezekiel 36:26Mikveh, Circumcision, Offering
25 "Then I will sprinkle clean living water on you (MIKVEH), and you will be clean; I will cleanse you from all your filthiness and from all your idols.

26 "Moreover, I will give you a new (CIRCUMCIZED) heart (for the Intent of My Law) and put a new (loving) spirit (for the intent of My Law) within you; and I will remove the (ritualistic) heart of stone (obedience to the Letter alone) from your flesh (which is enmity toward My Law) and give you a heart of flesh.

27 "I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will be careful to observe My ordinances (to bring your own Passover Lamb OFFERING to the Altar Exodus 12:1-3).…

Introduction to The Narrow Gate

From my book The Narrow Gate pages 2-10

John 10:1-4
“The one (Yahusha) who enters by the narrow gate (of Passover) is the Shepherd (Bridegroom) of the sheep (Bride). The Gatekeeper (Father of the Bride/Groom, Yahuah) opens the gate for him (Yahusha), and the sheep listen to his voice. He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out (of bondage to sin and death, through The Narrow Gate). When he has brought out all his own (from among the nations), he goes on ahead of them (into The Kingdom), and his sheep follow him (walking in his footsteps by The Way through The Narrow Gate into the Kingdom) because they know his voice”

The question is “what is The Way” and what is “The Narrow Gate”?

How it all went wrong

There are two Messiahs prophesied in Scripture. There is only one, however, prophesied by Yahuah in the Heavenly Scroll. Over time, our descendants lost contact (coming out of Babylon) with the message contained in The Heavenly Scroll. The Plan of Salvation was foretold in the heavens, where one man (the strong man) would run the course of a Wedding as the Bridegroom (Psalms 19). He would give his life for his Bride as a ransom/dowry, and he is portrayed as “a Lamb that has been slaughtered from the foundation of the world” in the stars. Eternal life would result from his death, and he would come back for his Bride, and ultimately be victorious over the dragon.  For more on this, please read Creation Cries Out! The Mazzaroth.

The Plan of Salvation in The Heavenly Scroll was further articulated by His Prophets, where this Heavenly Wedding in the stars was laid out, in more detail in the Earthly Scroll by the Feast Cycle.

This Feast Cycle portrays the Engagement (the Spring Feasts) and the Wedding (the Fall Feasts). In this yearly rehearsal of The Heavenly Wedding, the Spring Feasts were designed to teach us about the Engagement, where the Bride and Groom are made ready on the ‘preparation day’, then the Groom would pay the “dowry” and redeem his Bride with his own life, shedding his own blood to consummate the Marriage covenant. They would then be Engaged, and commit to the Wedding Vows on Shav’uot. Then the Fall Feasts are a rehearsal of the Wedding itself, whereas laid out in The Heavenly Scroll, the Father chooses a Bride for His son, and the Bride is revealed on Earth, then the Bride is risen to meet her Groom (Trumpets). Then the Bride and Groom are wed (on the Day of Atonement) and they atone for Creation together. Then the Wedding Supper of the Lamb takes place over a 7-day feast (Tabernacles).

All this knowledge was lost in Babylonian Captivity. The House of Judah began longing for their King to return and deliver them from bondage to the nations and establish his Kingdom. They didn’t want the Engagement, they wanted to jump directly to the Wedding, without the Groom fulfilling his responsibilities to the Father by paying the dowry to first redeem the Bride.

All of this is spoken in prophecy as The Messiah ben Joseph (suffering servant) and Messiah ben David (conquering King). There is an order proclaimed in The Heavenly Scroll and fulfillment had to be in that order. We see that even John the Immerser, the fulfillment of Elijah, was unsure how these prophecies would be fulfilled.

Luke 7:19
19 And John, calling two of his disciples to him, sent them to Yahusha, saying, Are You the Coming One (who comes twice), or should we expect another (Messiah to come as King)?

By the time the Messiah came to redeem his Bride, the High Priesthood had fallen, and the Temple had come under the control of “Priests” appointed by Rome. They did not prepare the House of Judah for the reality of the Messiah’s role, they were only interested in the “business of The Temple” (sound familiar?). When the Messiah did come, he was the fulfillment, by bloodline, to both the Throne of David and the Office of Zadok High Priest. He was the long-awaited Melchi Tsedek. He was the one prophesied to restore both the Throne and the Priesthood (which had fallen into the hands of Rome), and Yahusha was a threat (as the true High Priest and King of Israel), therefore he had to die (as did all the other Zadok Priests and aspiring Davidian Princes under Herod’s pogroms).

The people of Israel heard, those threatened by Yahusha, teach them lies (in the Synagogues and Temple) about how Yahusha was an imposter and had not come to liberate them. Therefore, he was not the long-awaited Messiah. The people of Judah were led astray and did not recognize their Messiah because they did not understand The Heavenly Scroll, the prophecies of the two Messiahs, or the meaning of the Feast Cycle. Everything had become a burdensome “ritualistic task” with no meaning. The loving intent of the Glorious Wedding was replaced with enmity toward Yahuah and His instructions in Righteousness. They were just “going through the motions”.

Spiritually this was according to the Plan of Yahuah. The House of Judah had to be the ones to make the sacrifice of the Lamb, so Yahuah had set this plan in motion. He would blind their eyes so that Yahusha could pay the dowry and redeemed his Bride from the Law of Sin and Death (sin and you die by decree). If they had accepted him, they would never have allowed him to die on Passover. It is interesting, that even though they did not understand, they proclaimed the truth of “what” he was doing.

John 11
49 But one of them, Caiaphas, who was High Priest that year, said to them, "You know nothing at all, 50 nor do you take into account that it is expedient for you that one man die for the people, and that the whole nation not perish." 51 Now he did not say this on his own initiative, but being High Priest that year, he prophesied that Yahusha was going to die for the nation”

Initially, just after the Messiah came, there were true Nazarenes who knew the Scriptures and understood The Heavenly Scroll, such as Sha’ul. They taught in the synagogues, and the Jews came to their Messiah in drovers. The Nazarenes exploded on the scene and outnumbered every other sect in Israel (Pharisees, Sadducees, Essenes, Zealots, etc.). Soon, however, the Jews fell victim to Hellenism, and Judaism was overcome by Hellenism (this is admitted even by Jews today when Gamaliel, Sha’ul’s mentor, died). Gamaliel, the greatest Rabbi in Jewish history (outside of John the Immerser, Yahusha the Messiah, and Sha’ul the Apostle whom they deny), even accepted Yahusha as the Messiah (which Judaism denies today). Gamaliel maintained his position in the power elite of The Temple to use his influence to protect the Nazarenes. Once Judaism succumbed to Hellenism, they wrote lies in the Talmud about Yahusha, and literally outlawed Nazarenes from entering the Synagogues. The Nazarenes were forced into hiding and the House of Judah was at the mercy of Hellenized Rabbinical Judaism where it remains today.  For more information, see my book The Nazarene!

You can’t become part of Judaism without renouncing the Messiah because they have been taught lies about their King for 2000 years. That is compounded by Christianity who presents the world with a total false Greek demi-god patterned after Tammuz and Antiochus (who abolished The Law). All the prophetic Scriptures pointing to the Messiah were “re-introduced” by Rabbinical Judaism. Now, these Scriptures that plainly prove Yahusha is the Messiah are mistaught as though these Scriptures were about the nation of Israel, and not about the Messiah. The fact is… the people of Judah today are never properly introduced to their Messiah! For more on this topic, see my 5 part Facebook Note on the lies of Judaism here.

There will come a day when Yahuah will raise up true Nazarenes who are equipped to reason with the Jews from their own scriptures (as Sha’ul did) and explain to them everything I just said. They will introduce them to the true Messiah. They will begin to see Yahusha for who he really was: The High Priest of Israel, King of Israel, the fulfillment of The Heavenly Scroll, and the most influential man in history, was one of their own. They will reclaim the greatest “Jew” who ever lived back to themselves. Yahusha will return to receive them as their King at that time, and then come as the Messiah ben David and setup his Kingdom.

Yahusha is The Way to Yahuah

For 2000 years, we all have been misled on how to enter The Narrow Gate by Christianity and Judaism. We keep the baptized pagan rituals of Easter or the Seder. Instead of properly preparing ourselves as the Bride of the Messiah… we have fallen from The Way (which is the example Yahusha set on Passover):

John 13:15
15"For I gave you an example that you also should do as I did to you. 16 "Truly, truly, I say to you, a slave is not greater than his Master, nor is one who is sent greater than the One who sent him.

He then proceeded to be Mikveh’d, Circumcised, and brought his life to the Altar as a living sacrificial Offering. By making the proper sacrifice, the Veil was torn, giving us all access to the Altar of Yahuah to bring our own lives as living sacrifices as The Law prescribes! Sadly, no one understands these Spiritual Truths laid out by the example Yahusha set. Only those who are prepared properly as His Bride will be risen to participate in The Wedding.

Ephesians 5
25 Husbands, love your wives, just as the Messiah (the Groom) loved the body (his Bride) and gave himself up for her (as the Passover Lamb) 26 to make her Holy, (ritually) cleansing her by the washing with living water (Mikveh) through The Commandments (Circumcision), 27 and to present her (properly) to himself as a radiant assembly, without spot or wrinkle or any other blemish (as spotless Passover Lambs of Yahuah, “Offering), but Holy and blameless.

Yahusha the Messiah came the first time to fulfill The Passover Season. Passover is The Narrow Gate that leads us out of bondage and into the Kingdom of Yahuah.

What this book will address

There are two issues facing the Nazarene followers of Yahusha today concerning Yahuah’s Appointed Times:

  1. When do we celebrate these Appointed Times?
  2. How do we properly fulfill our roles in these prophetic rehearsals?

I wrote this book to answer those two questions clearly so that the Nazarene Assembly of true believers will be faithful to meet Yahuah on His Appointed Feasts and in a way that brings Glory to Him. We must know The Way that we can properly fulfill our role as the Bride of the Messiah (not Yahuah) by preparing ourselves through Mikveh, Circumcision, and Offering.

For 2000 years, the traditions of Hellenized Rabbinical Judaism and the pagan false religion of Christianity has dominated the hearts and minds of the people. We were all brought up committing The Abomination of Desolation by keeping Easter over Passover (as I will explain later). We came out of Babylon, repented, and looked for answers as to “how” we keep His Appointed Times; we then began following the human traditions of the Pharisees, known today as Rabbinical Judaism. We literally went from one pagan ritual to another, remaining unfaithful in our attempts at obedience by not following the example set by Yahusha on Passover. This book will give us all clear instructions on how to properly enter The Narrow Gate by following the “true way that leads to Eternal life” … The Truth, the Way, and the Life example of our Messiah.

The Narrow Gate is very narrow, and very few there are that find it! In this book, I am going to explain that “Narrow Gate”, and why it is so very narrow.  Below is a free copy of The Narrow Gate.

Eating Swine Flesh

from my book The Law and The Pauline Doctrine
by Rav Sha’ul

Eating Swine Flesh

As with all things physical… “eating” has a Spiritual Truth associated with it. If we are going to be Righteous Judges, this physical to Spiritual Parallel must be firmly established. If we do not, we will become self-righteous in our judgment and condemn others in our ignorance of His Word!  I am going to build to a MAJOR Scriptural Truth that will probably shock everyone, and overcome a very serious abuse of The Torah in the process…

We see all the prophets (John, David, Ezekiel, Jeremiah etc.) were commanded to “Eat the Heavenly Scroll”:

Ezekiel 3:3
Then he said to me, "Son of man, eat this scroll I am giving you and fill your stomach with it." So I ate it, and it tasted as sweet as honey in my mouth.

Jeremiah 15:16
Your words were found, and I ate them, and your words became to me a joy and the delight of my heart, for I am called by your name, O Yahuah, God of hosts.

Revelation 10:9-10
So I went to the angel and told him to give me the little scroll. And he said to me, “Take and eat it; it will make your stomach bitter, but in your mouth it will be sweet as honey.”

Psalm 119:101-103
How sweet are your words (preserved in The Heavenly Scroll Psalms 119:89) to my taste, sweeter than honey to my mouth!

Job 23:12
I have not departed from the commandment of his lips; I have treasured the words of his mouth more than my portion of food.

Psalm 19:10
More to be desired are they than gold, even much fine gold; sweeter also than honey and drippings of the honeycomb.

We see Yahusha instruct us to “eat his flesh and drink his blood”

John 6
55 For My flesh is real food, and My blood is real drink. 56 Whoever eats My flesh and drinks My blood remains in Me, and I in him. 57 Just as the living Father sent Me (in fulfillment of The Heavenly Scroll Matthew 6:10) and I live because of the Father, so also the one who feeds on Me will live because of Me.

What is going on here?

How do we Spiritually Appraise this physical shadow of “eating” and properly employ The Mystery Language? In this section, I am going to help us understand “eating pork” and why it appears in Scripture to be so devastating to your life that Yahuah declares you will utterly perish!

Isaiah 66:17
…16 For Yahuah will execute judgment by fire And by His sword on all flesh, And those slain by Yahuah will be many. 17" Those who sanctify and purify themselves to go to the gardens, Following one in the center, Who eat swine's flesh, detestable things and mice, Will come to an end altogether," declares Yahuah.

One of the most grievous sins unto Yahuah is to abuse His Torah and self-righteously condemn others by the letter of the Law as I have shown so far in this book. One of the most damaging examples of this are what I call “Torah Nazis”; those who abuse the Scriptures and the Dietary Laws casting condemnation on others out of their own ignorance.  These Torah Nazis go about with the Torah in hand ready to “beat the daylights out of any and every one “by the letter“… while they themselves are lost in the “Milk” of the Word (the Letter), always “learning but never coming to the knowledge of the Truth” which is found in the Meat of the Word (Intent).

2 Timothy 3
1 But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. 2 People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3 without love, unforgiving (in Judgment), slanderous (judging others by the Letter not Intent), without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, 4 treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of Yahuah— 5 having a form of godliness (religiously obeying the Letter) but denying its power (the INTENT). Have nothing to do with such people. ... 7 always learning (to do this or that “by the Letter”) but never able to come to a knowledge of the truth (of the Intent of the Law).

“Eating” is a Metaphor

Eating is a metaphor for “what you accept as truth, what you put your faith in, what you believe, etc.” Eating “food” is a physical to Spiritual Parallel of digesting the Truth or accepting a lie. Sha’ul the Apostle used “eating” as a metaphor in this way as I have shown in this book, the prophets used it in this way, and Yahusha did as well…

We don’t literally “eat” The Heavenly Scroll or Earthly Scrolls, Yahusha was not literally saying we are to slice him up barbecue his remains and eat him. He was speaking in The Mystery Language that he was The Lamb and later at the Last Supper/Chagigah Meal, on the Eve of Passover, he further elaborated on this, telling us that we are to keep Passover and eat the Lamb in honor and remembrance of his sacrifice. We are to accept Yahusha as the Messiah and put our faith in his sacrifice to cover our sin as the blood of the Lamb. In other words, we are to “eat his flesh and drink his blood”. In this way, “Lamb” is singled out among all animals as a shadow of the true sacrifice. We are to “eat lambs flesh” metaphorically speaking (and literally on Passover) to demonstrate we are in covenant with Yahuah through Yahusha’s blood.

So, what about “eating swine flesh”? Is Yahuah so petty that He is going to literally destroy everyone who has bacon bits on their house salad?!?!?!

NO! That is a classic example of immaturity trying to understand The Law by the letter when it is appraised Spiritually.

1 Corinthians 2
14 The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of Yahuah (understanding of Intent) but considers them (the Intent of the Law) foolishness (because they think Righteousness is based on obedience to the Letter), and cannot understand them (the Intent of His Law) because they (the Intent of the Law) are spiritually appraised

NOTE – PORK IS NOT FOOD! DO NOT EAT IT. IT IS BAD FOR YOUR BODY. The Dietary Laws are “instructions” from a loving Father on how to eat healthy. The penalty for breaking the Dietary Laws is NOT that Yahuah is going to kick you out of His Kingdom… the penalty is bad health. Eating pork, shellfish, etc. is simply not a good choice if you want to “live a long life” as Yahuah has Instructed (Torah). The “intent” of the Dietary Laws/Instructions is that we should not just consume everything that taste good and watch what we eat and take care of our physical bodies as they are His Temple. It only BEGINS with the Dietary Laws as most of what we eat today we literally manufacture. We were supposed to be mature and understand the intent behind what Yahuah was telling us.

I have to just shake my head when I see these Torah Nazis out judging everyone by the letter, miss-teaching the Dietary Instructions taking them extremely literal while denying their Intent. I look at their photos and they are grossly overweight… addicted to coffee, soft drinks, prescription pills, and probably consume every processed food they can get their hands on… yet they “throw the book” at someone for eating a piece of bacon on their cheeseburger.

So then… why do the Scriptures single out “swine flesh” and seemingly say if you eat it you are going to “hell and don’t pass Go”? What is the REAL Truth of this matter… I am going to help us all understand this and tie it all together with “eating” as a metaphor and “The Lamb” as the proper sacrifice and show us all why if you eat “swine flesh” you cannot enter His Kingdom.

Historical Context

Scripture is not understood in isolation, it MUST be understood in “context” as follows as I have laid out in this book:

  • Historical Context
  • Textual Context (kept in context not sound bitten)
  • Scriptural Context (kept in context of the Torah/Prophets and Heavenly Scroll)
  • Spiritual Context (all Truth is revealed through physical to Spiritual Parallels)

Today Scripture is misunderstood because it is taken out of context. We sound bit verses and even sentences within a verse totally out of context of what the Scriptures are saying. This is the case with eating swine flesh. We fail to put that into context of HISTORY dating back to Babylon where the false sacrifice was established as The Ishtar Pig or “eating swine flesh” as a sacrifice.

The Bible is a story of two “Messiahs” and two religions…

  • The False Messiah or “Beast/Pig of the Earth”
  • The True Messiah the Lamb of Yahuah.

The Way of the Gentiles

The “Way of the Gentiles” is eating swine flesh AS A SACRIFICE to their pagan demi-gods which are all fashioned after Tammuz in Babylon as Mystery Babylon was spread across the Earth at the tower of Babel. The False Messiah is the fulfillment of the corrupted Zodiac.  For more on Mystery Babylon and what that religion truly is, read my book:

“The way of the gentiles” is a term used often in The Bible and in every case it speaking of the religious practices of the pagan Gentiles it is not referring to a physical path or destination.  Below we see the same phrase “the way of the Gentiles” referring to the religious practices or those who display the religious practices of pagans. The phrase “Way of the Gentiles” is translated in various translation to illustrate that it is an Idiom of “the pagan ways of the Gentile Nations”:

Jeremiah 10:2

New International Version - This is what the LORD says: "Do not learn the ways of the nations or be terrified by signs in the heavens, though the nations are terrified by them.

NET Bible - The LORD says, "Do not start following pagan religious practices. Do not be in awe of signs that occur in the sky even though the nations hold them in awe.

GOD'S WORD® Translation - This is what the LORD says: Don't learn the practices of the nations. Don't be frightened by the signs in the sky because the nations are frightened by them.

Jubilee Bible 2000 - Thus hath the LORD said, Do not learn the way of the Gentiles, and do not fear the signs of heaven, even though the Gentiles fear them.

The Way of the Gentiles is eating swine flesh as a sacrifice to demi-gods on the Spring Equinox… “Easer”.  For more on this subject, see my book The Kingdom.

The “Way of Israel” is eating lamb AS A SACRIFICE on Passover to cover sin pointing to the role of the True Messiah who is the fulfillment of The Heavenly Scroll.

It is in this context of history of two sacrifices that we understand the prophets such as Isaiah condemning the practice of “eating swine flesh” as a sacrifice. If you “eat” or “put your faith in, believe, accept as true” the false sacrifice illustrated by Easter (the Ishtar Pig) Yahuah will utterly destroy you as that is The Way of the Gentiles and the blood of a Pig on the Altar desecrates Yahuah’s Altar, destroys the Temple (your body), and does not cover sin.  This is called “The Abominable Sacrifice that Destroys the Body Temple” or for short The Abomination of Desolation.  See my book The Antichrist Revealed! This is why Antiochus sacrificed a pig on the Altar committing The Abomination of Desolation… he was a sun worshipper and that was the sacrifice of the Gentiles.

The Meaning of Isaiah 66

Now getting back to “eating”. Yahuah established that we are to “eat” the sacrifices on Passover and The Day of Atonement. It is a shadow or illustration that in The Yahushaic Covenant we are to “eat the flesh and blood” of the Messiah, who is The Lamb of Yahuah. We are to metaphorically “eat his flesh and drink his blood” or rather “put our faith in, accept as true” that Yahusha is the fulfillment of the Passover Lamb and his blood covers our sin.

The Gentiles ate their sacrifice too… for the same reason.

So, the prophets were condemning The Way of the Gentiles when they spoke of eating the WRONG THINGS as SACRIFICES. Instead of Lamb and Dove, they would sacrifice Pigs and Rats in keeping with the religion of Mystery Babylon!

Isaiah 66:17
…16 For Yahuah will execute judgment by fire And by His sword on all flesh, And those slain by Yahuah will be many. 17" Those who sanctify and purify themselves (by offering the WRONG sacrifices of Pigs and Rats) to go to the gardens, Following one in the center (of the corrupted Zodiac), Who eat swine's flesh (as a sacrifice to Tammuz called Ishtar Day), detestable things and mice (instead of clean things like Lambs and Doves as Yahuah commanded to be used as sacrificial animals), Will come to an end altogether," declares Yahuah (because those are the wrong sacrificial animals and there is no forgiveness of sin in those sacrifices). 18"For I know their works (as they offer up unclean sacrifices to a Holy Elohim) and their thoughts (their INTENT is to worship the false Messiah, the Earthly Pig); the time is coming to gather all nations and tongues. And they shall come and see My glory.…

Notice in Isaiah above, which is used to condemn all who eat bacon with their eggs, that he is not talking about “eating pork” in general or the Dietary Laws of good health, he is condemning those who eat it as a sacrifice to “sanctify and purify” themselves! He is condemning the FALSE SACRIFICE of the Gentiles (the Way of the Gentiles) and all those who put their faith in the Ishtar Pig to “sanctify and purify” themselves. This has absolutely NOTHING to do with the Dietary Laws, we are speaking in parables and metaphor of the true vs false Messiah and true vs false sacrifice. The False Sacrifice of Babylon (all pagan religions) is EATING SWINE FLESH on Isthar Day as a sacrifice to purify and sanctify themselves. The True Sacrifice of Yahuah is EATING LAMB on Passover to sanctify and purify. It is within THAT context that “eating swine flesh” costs you your eternal life. NOT having bacon bits on your salad.

Epitomy of Hypocrisy

It is the epitomy of hypocrisy to keep the Dietary Laws “by the letter” as if that is where true righteousness is found. While denying the “intent’ of those same instructions by eating all kinds of “junk” and justify that because it isn’t listed in the Dietary Law. Then set yourself up as other’s judge and a “judge over the Law” by condemning others for their diet. This judgmental Spirit has plagued the body of believers all the way back 2000 years ago. We call these self-righteous hypocrites “Pharisees”:

James 4
10 Humble yourselves before Yahuah (knowing you too have broken His Dietary Laws in your lifetime), and He will exalt you (forgive you for YOUR bad eating in the past). 11 Brothers, do not slander one another (by judging others by the letter condemning others for their bad eating). Anyone who speaks against his brother or judges him (by the Letter of the Law) speaks against the (Intent of the) Law and judges it. And if you judge the Law, you are not a practitioner of the Law, but a judge of it (because no one has the authority to judge another's servant by the Law). 12 There is only one Lawgiver and Judge, the One who is able to save and destroy. But who are you to judge your neighbor?
Romans 14
3 The one who eats everything must not belittle the one who does not, and the one who does not eat everything must not judge the one who does (because they are instructions for good health), for Yahuah has accepted him (because they have NO bearing on Eternal Life just on good health). 4 Who are you to judge someone else’s servant (by the Dietary Laws)? To his own master he stands or falls (by the Blood of the Lamb NOT religiously following the Dietary Laws by the letter). And he will stand, for Yahuah is able to make him stand (forgiving our transgressions of the Dietary Instructions, there is NO condemnation).

This is exactly what Yahusha condemned in the Pharisees. A religious judgmental Spirit. It is paramount to saying “hey everybody, look at how Holy I am… I keep The Torah, see how perfect I am in obeying the Dietary Laws!” Just like the Pharisees praying out loud, over giving their alms and making it publicly known, or walking out looking all pathetic so everyone knew they were fasting, and so forth.

WALK THE WALK, get in the gym, eat right all the way around as THAT is what the Dietary Laws are telling us. And KEEP YOUR MOUTH SHUT in judgment of others for “their diet”. Hypocrites!

Matthew 23:33
33 (Yahusha said to the judgmental, self-righteous hypocritical Pharisees) You serpents, you brood of vipers, how are you to escape being sentenced to hell (by the Letter of the Law for judging others by it)?

Matthew 7
1Do not judge, or you will be judged. 2 For with the same judgment you pronounce, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. 3 Why do you look at the speck in your brother’s eye, but fail to notice the beam in your own eye?…

Liberty! You do not have the autority to judge on this issue!

What I want to accomplish here, is that the verses condemning all those who “eat swine flesh” has nothing to do with the Levitical Law on how to eat healthy.  I am NOT saying the Instruction on good eating in Leviticus no longer apply.  I am saying they do not apply to Isaiah 66 and have nothing to do with “utterly perishing for eating swine flesh”.  We associate the two in error, bearing false witness of Isaiah who was not talking about the dietary laws, but rather The Way of the Gentiles sacrificing pigs and mice in honor of Tammuz/Jesus on Ishtar/Easter. By not understanding the context of Isaiah, we bear false witness of the Scriptures and use that false witness to then self-righteously condemn others for their diet.

We are out of step with The Yahushaic Covenant which is NOT based on ritualistic observance of The Law by the letter, that is “immaturity and milk”.

Righteousness is not “hey look how well I keep the dietary laws compared to you… YOU SINNER”

that is the issue here most of all. Righteousness is based on “eating the Lamb” on Passover not “eating a pig on Ishtar/Easter” and it is based on the INTENT of the heart not the letter of the Law. That is “New Covenant 101” and we have fallen out of covenant by judging “another’s servant” when we do not have that authority because of a little thing called… “Liberty”.

Liberty is Yahuah’s privilege to extend to each person grace and liberty in light of the letter in the process of individual training in Righteousness (sanctification) based on that person’s current state of maturity and circumstance. Since “we” are not involved in that personal relationship, we are then condemned by Yahuah if we intervene as if “we are their judge” by denying Him His privilege to train each person individually.

And if you judge the Law, you are not a practitioner of the Law, but a judge OVER it (because no one has the authority to judge another's servant by the Law they do not know the other's INTENT or where they are in their relationship with Yahuah and Liberty). 12 There is only one Lawgiver and Judge, the One who is able to save and destroy (that is Yahuah NOT you). But who are you to judge your neighbor (they are not in covenant with YOU)?

Romans 14
3 The one who eats everything must not belittle the one who does not, and the one who does not eat everything must not judge the one who does (because they are instructions for good health), for Yahuah has accepted him (because they have NO bearing on Eternal Life just on good health and Yahuah grants LIBERTY). 4 Who are you to judge someone else’s servant (by the Dietary Laws)? To his own master he stands or falls (by the Blood of the Lamb NOT religiously following the Dietary Laws by the letter). And he will stand, for Yahuah is able to make him stand (forgiving our transgressions of the Dietary Instructions and grant us Liberty as we grow in obedience and maturity)

----- Matthew 23:33 -----
33 (Yahusha said to the judgmental, self-righteous hypocritical Pharisees) You serpents, you brood of vipers, how are you to escape being sentenced to hell (by the Letter of the Law for judging others by it)?

Matthew 7
1Do not judge, or you will be judged. 2 For with the same judgment you pronounce, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. 3 Why do you look at the speck in your brother’s eye, but fail to notice the beam in your own eye?…

Most people have no idea about the concept of Liberty. It has been abused by Christians to “do away with the law” when that is not at all what Liberty is. It is Yahuah’s right to extend to each of us a measure of understanding as we progress in sanctification so that we do not stand “condemned” in the process… like these self-righteous hypocrites would have us believe. Everyone has current “sin” in their lives and past sins… outside of Liberty there would be no growth and no training in Righteousness (which is what The Law is, it is NOT Righteousness in itself…)
I explain all of this in my book The Law and The Pauline Doctrine.

It is because each of us are in a personal relationship with a LOVING (not condemning) Father and have an individual level of Liberty extended to us personally, that NO ONE ELSE has the right/authority or position so “Judge another’s servant” because that “other” is Yahuah and HE will make us stand at all times through Liberty.

I want to keep this message on point. And that point is that … the dietary laws are no the point! Isaiah is not talking about that. He is condemning The Way of the Gentiles which was established all the way back in Babylon which is a FALSE sacrifice of pigs and mice instead or clean animal sacrifices of Lamb and Doves to “sanctify and purify” ourselves.

If you keep Easter over Passover and put your faith in The Beast/Pig of the Earth known as Jesus, you are “eating swine flesh” and that is the wrong sacrifice for sin and desecrates Yahuah’s altar (your heart) thereby destroying His Temple (your body) in the lake of fire…

The dietary laws are a very personal guide (instructions) on how to eat right so that you “live a long life” they were never intended to cost you your salvation or even your relationship with Yahuah.
It is only by taking the Scriptures out of context and (in error) associating the dietary laws with the point Isaiah is making that we come to that false conclusion, then set out to judge others as if they are going to hell for eating bacon with their eggs. This has to stop.
